Hello everyone!

I'm Joonas and I'm supposed to be the "super"tutor for this year. It doesn't mean I'm the best or oldest, my task is just to kick the other tutors in their ass if they are lazy.

I have been active with international students for about four years now, which of last two years as a tutor. I was in Zaragoza, Spain during 2005-2006, so I've had the taste of erasmus life myself. I study IT (hypermedia to be more specific) and this should be my last year of studies. Currently I'm also working at the hypermedialaboratory at TUT.

Hello everyone! Hallo zusammen! Hej alla! Herkese selam! Privet!

My name is Anna-Leena, actually just Anna is enough. It's my first year as an international tutor, but I've been guiding Finnish freshmen and also foreign students during shorter exchanges at the univeristy before. I spent the year 2006-2007 in Dresden in Germany studying as an Erasmus student and I miss it a lot! I hope I will find the Erasmus spirit again with all of you now when I start my last year at the university. I study electrical engineering and I am majoring in power electronics.
I might look like a typical Finn, but everyone tells me I am very unFinnish. Don't know what it means, but you can see for yourselves. Usually I speak too much... I know 6 langugaes: Finnish, English, German, Swedish, Turkish and Russian and I am happy to improve them.

I'm Joonas Laine, first year international tutor, third year IT student and lots of other things. I was a tutor for finnish students last year and now I'm a member of board in TiTe (IT students guild), EESTEC and TUrVoKe (sports organization in TUT). I'm really active guy. My name is Antti and this is my first year as an international tutor. Last year I was an exchange student in Aachen (Germany) and there I fell in love with the Erasmus lifestyle. I study industrial engineering and management and this is now my fourth year at TUT.

My name is Mikko and I like beer.
Also I have been studying. Last year I spent in Germany, in Darmstadt. That was fun. In TUT I've entertained myself for two years browsing through material engineering stuff.
Tutoring I have never done before but I'm trying my bestest to provide you a succesful year here.
In addition to beer, I like cycling and some other sporty things as well. E.g. ping pong. (I just brought two rackets, or what those little things you hit the ball with are called anyway, with me and there's a table in Wäinölä 2. So I'm up for a challenge!)

My name is Antti Peltonen, I'm 21 yrs old and I study industrial engineering and management - I'm on my second year now. I'm now also starting my freshman year in University of Jyväskylä where I'll study marketing. I spent myself one year abroad so I think I know how it is in a foreign land - though Germany wasn't really very different or exotic for me as Finland might be for you from far away!

In my freetime I train Cross-country skiing (something for people with nothing else to do) and it needs a hell lot of time, so sometimes I feel 24hrs isn't enough..every now and then I also find time to work at a local sports store in ideapark.

i am Yigit. I am 24 years old and having the last (hopefully) year of my degree programme studies, this is the time you hate the creator of the unearthly thing called “thesis”. My faculty is expecting me to study biotechnology but I don’t. Please save your study related questions to a time when i can handle them (drunk state). Other than not studying, i do sports which are really well facilitated in Finland, or I party so you have many chances to ask me study related questions (such a good tutor i am).
 
This is the first year i am having the pleasure of being an international tutor but I am an international student myself. My name is Jakub, though everyone around here calls me Kuba. This year I happen to be both a tutor and an INTO board-member (though I'm not really sure what am I responsible here for... but hey, who does? :P ). Anyways, I'm associated with Communications Department, so you can find me in Tietotalo most of the time... that is unless there's some party around ;)

I came here from Poland quite some time ago, and I liked it here so much that I decided to stay. So I did my Erasmus year, then my MSc, and right now I'm struggling with my postgrad studies... but of course that doesn't stop me from being active and hanging around with the internationals.

My name is Roberto Camp, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Mexico. I will be a international tutor for the academic year 2008-2009 and I am also going to function as the “not yet existing” INTO magazine editing officer.
