Welcoming Party in Teekkarisauna
Let's get together to meet all the new people in the most finnish ambient: sauna. And what better sauna than our very own Teekkarisauna!

The electronic music club Spinni will be scratching the turntables to keep you dancing all night long, and the sauna will be warm for the whole night. There will be three turns: girls, boys and then mixed. So remember to bring your towels and other sauna stuff you might need.
For the first time ever in an INTO sauna party, you will be able to play the legendary Hervanta Game! This is a Monopoly-like game where you don't with money ;) and the properties and locations of the game are Hervanta-themed. It is played by four teams of four people each and the fee for playing the game is 8€ per person. We will play two rounds, from 8 to 9 and 9 to 10, so be sure to come on time. As a matter of fact, if you're planning to play, please DON'T drink anything before and eat well. You get fuksi points for playing.
Here are some basic guidelines to follow in sauna:
- Finnish people are born in a Sauna, feel free to ask them whatever questions you have about Sauna Culture.
- Sauna is meant to be hot, keep in mind to close the door.
- Throwing too much water on the stove will cool it down too much.
- Close the door as soon as you have gone through it. Always keep the door closed.
- Glass bottles are not allowed in sauna to avoid broken glass and feet injuries. Please use a plastic cup whenever you are in sauna. You can exchange your beer bottles for plastic cups in the bar.
- Sauna is a place to enjoy and have fun. If you are not enjoying yourself there you can leave, no one will mind as Sauna is not a contest of who can last the longest here. At the same time, sauna is also about respect, don't try to roast your friends...
- There is a turn for ladies at beginning of the night. And for ladies only! It is followed by men's turn (about 30mins) and then mixed sauna for the rest of the night. Usage of swimming suit is not recommended (not really comfortable to wear with so high temperature) but acceptable. You can find out whose turn is it by asking the organizers and not by peeking at dressing room.
- Sauna is a place where men and also women can enjoy without being harassed. It is therefore not allowed to enjoy someone else's (or your own for that matter) bodyparts (staring/touching) even if you have been drinking too much. Breaking this rule will get you kicked out of the sauna and banned for all international events! Behave!
- We are not paparazzis, we are smart. So no cameras (No videos, or photographs) in sauna or the dressing room. Breaking this rule can also get you the same treatment as the rule number 8.
- Oh yeah. Close the door!
- Have fun!
And not all finnish saunas work like teekkarisauna, in the sense that not all saunas are for parties. So in other saunas too, behave.

Ex-INTO chairman Jukka's sauna algorithm goes like this:
clothes off ->shower->open door->go in-> close door->sauna->throw
water->enjoy sauna->sing->throw water->sing->enjoy sauna->cool
off->shower->put on my towel->go and take beer->cool off and discuss
about the political situation of the middle east->back to sauna->->open
door->go in-> close door->enjoy sauna.***->shower->drying
(towel)->clothes on -> I am a new man
*** is that I usually take about 3-4 rounds, but this is only an
example. You can improvise as you want :) and you dont have to discuss
about the political situation of the middle east ;)
