In case you want to read some news -not-in-Finnish-only-, you can do it in the library of TUT. There is so called resting room "Huili" in the opposite side of the information desk, and there you can find at least Frankfurter Allgemaine (or something like that:), Herald Tribune and some Swedish newspaper, too!
